Down Payment and Private Mortgage Insurance

For conventional loans, a minimum down payment of 3% to 20% may be required. Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) may be required for loans with less than a 20% down payment.

Government Program Disclosures

FHA loans require a minimum 3.5% down payment and mortgage insurance premium. VA loans require VA funding fee which may be financed. USDA loans require an upfront guarantee fee and an annual fee.
